98.6% of Cynthia's orthotic patients return satisfied for their next pair.
Foot orthotics are "not" regulated devices as anyone can make/sell them, be concerned... Cynthia has extensive experience to perform the correct "non weight bearing arch capture position" that correctly identifies the natural FULL shape of your foot arch. How can a foam box, upward shaping pins or walking on a mat capture the FULL arch when standing? It's flattening the arch! The result will look like an orthotic, but is a true mis-interpretation of your foot shape and is NOT providing full support, how could it be? You won't buy glasses with 1 lens, so why on earth would you settle for less than 100% support from your orthotics?
When we make orthotics for you, you know they’ll fit right & benefit you. If for any reason they break or aren't comfortable, we'll make it right (warranty included.) For kids we have an "out-grow" program where we will replace your childs orthotics free of charge if they out grow them within 6 months.
While you may have purchased orthotics from someone other than a chiropodist or foot specialist, chiropodists are fully trained in the assessment of the foot and the treatment and prevention of diseases, disorders or dysfunctions of the foot by therapeutic, orthotic or palliative means (Chiropody act, 1991.)
Also, in most cases, insurance companies will only recognize prescriptions for orthotics from chiropodists or medical doctors. Hmm.. we wonder why...?
